A wonderful and insanely delicious way to celebrate summer and kick off World Cup season.
Homage to The Audley Burger, a limited edition special collab by Chef Jamie Shears of The Audley Public House and Stew Down of Black Bear Burgers, which recently won 2nd best burger in the world at World’s 101 Best Burger Places.
An epic masterpiece and burger of all burgers, I’ve never tried a burger quite like this one in terms of flavour, texture and deliciousness. At its heart is a delicious double patty of incredibly flavourful dry aged British beef from Aubrey Allen, generously layered with melted cheese and gorgeous 12 hour marinated brisket braised in beer and beef jus, layered with moreish garlic mayo and luscious pink picked onions, and sandwiched by delicious buns by Paul Rhodes Bakery. The best bit for me is biting into the burger and discovering little pops of unctuous beef fat and tasting the incredible bone marrow jus that’s full of depth and flavour, bringing it all together into one harmonious symphony.
Truly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
