About the dish (back of card): Whole steamed fish symbolises unity, prosperity and surplus because the word ‘fish’ 「魚」sounds the same as ‘abundance’「餘」. My favourite version features seawater fish, freshly steamed with chiffonades of ginger and spring onion, laid on seafood soy sauce and drizzled with hot sizzling oil on top for a dazzling finishing touch. 「福」in the red diamond means ‘good fortune’.
