A delicious sticky rice cake that symbolises the arrival of the new year, and sounds the same as「年高」or ‘Year High’ – symbolising that the best is yet to come. 「福」in the red diamond means good fortune, tangerines are a homonym of ‘luck’ and gold ingots symbolise wealth.
