Homage to one of my favourite comfort dishes that is a wonderful bowl of deep deliciousness – the Wagyu Beef Steak Rice from Bao by Erchan Chang, Shing Tat Chung and Wai Ting.
Gorgeous rosy petals of juicy marbled Wagyu layered on top of silky, buttery rice, and topped with an oozy cured Westholme Farm egg yolk that is just begging to be popped to unleash its golden elixir. Each bite is full of life-affirming flavour, rich yet also deeply nourishing for both stomach and soul. It’s amazing how everything feels so much better after a bowl of this magic.
