Mid-Autumn Lunar Festival of my favourite times of the year - a celebration of the moon, in one of its largest, roundest, brightest formations of the year, and family union. We celebrate with mooncakes, a gorgeous golden sculpted cake made with lotus seed (the lotus is the flower of longevity) and contains the moon inside (two moons in this case!) - of golden globes of cured egg yolk inside. Imagine biting into the moon!
